Ryan Seacrest Buys Ellen DeGeneres’s Beverly Hills Estate

Ryan Seacrest is in escrow to purchase Ellen DeGeneres's Beverly Hills estate for $37 million, according to a person close to the transaction.

The property was listed last fall for $49 million but Ms. DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi were quietly shopping it last year for $60 million.

The compound spans several acres in Los Angeles's Coldwater Canyon and has a 9,200-square-foot main house and three guest houses.

Ashton Kutcher buys house in Hollywood Hills‎

Ashton Kutcher has bought a home in the heart of the Hollywood Hills for an undisclosed amount.

While Kutcher's purchase price has not been disclosed, it was earlier reported that Bieber was considering paying about $10.8 million for the property as a gift to himself for his 18th birthday.

The modern-style house, completed in 2007, has views of the Hollywood Reservoir and the Hollywood sign.

Ms. Wang, who bought through a limited-liability company, is spending more time in Los Angeles, says Stephen Shapiro of the Westside Estate Agency, who represented Ms. Wang with Richard Ehrlich of the same firm.

The midcentury-modern home was completely renovated and has four bedrooms, a home theater and walls of glass.

The two-story, 20,000-square-foot home was originally asking $70 million in 2008 by Victor MacFarlane, a real-estate investment manager and developer who bought three apartment shells and combined them.

He sold it back to the bank in a deed-in-lieu of foreclosure after it failed to sell after several price cuts.

Buy David Schwimmer's Home for $10.7M

Actor David Schwimmer has put his Mediterranean-style Los Angeles home on the market for $10.7 million.

Mr. Schwimmer bought the roughly 11,000-square-foot, nine-bedroom home in Hancock Park in 2001 for $5.5 million.

The 1920s home, which was renovated before he bought it, sits on a flat acre and was designed by the architectural firm Koerner & Gage, which also designed Beverly Hills' City Hall.
