Halle Berry puts Beverly Hills home on sale

Hollywood actress Halle Berry is selling off her Beverly Hills home she bought in 2001 for more than twice what she paid for it, according to News Agency ANI.

Halle Berry bought the Benedict Canyon Drive property for $2.27 million eight years ago, when she married singer Eric Benet, reports the Daily Star.

However, according to RealEstalker.com, she has put the property up for sale at $5 million.

The two-bedroom home, built in 1948, is on 1.3 acres in the hills and it features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, landscaped gardens and stone spa.

"The vibe is majestic, yet casual with vaulted heavy wood-beamed ceilings, wide-planked wood floors, detailed custom-made ironwork, stone-carved fireplaces, a dramatic staircase, banks of French doors/windows & a master suite tub carved out of stone."

The master bedroom has a fireplace and glass doors out onto a terrace. The master bathroom includes a large stone bathtub and crystal chandelier. Outside the grounds include gardens, a dining and seating area, fire pit and a stone spa set up against the hillside.
