Carla Bruni's Castle Back on the Market

The historic home in the Italian hills where French first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy spent her early childhood is staking a "for sale" sign once again, just months after a Saudi billionaire bought the palatial property for US$25 million.
Saudi businessman Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, has exclusively relisted the historic castle with Immobilsarda S.r.l. with a reported asking price of about US$28 million.
The 40-room, 2,100-sq m Castello di Castagneto Po has been repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt over the years but is believed to first date from the year 1019.

The historic home in the Italian hills where French first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy spent her early childhood is staking a "for sale" sign once again, just months after a Saudi billionaire bought the palatial property for $25 million.
Now the buyer, who has since been revealed as billionaire Saudi businessman Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, has relisted the historic castle with an affiliate of Christie's Great Estates with a reported asking price of about 19 million Euros ($28 million).

French president Nicolas Sarkozy today explained his weekend jogging collapse for the first time, saying his health was fine but he had been hit by fatigue and must now rest.
Like most other French residents, Sarkozy will spend the next three weeks on holiday.
He will be staying at the mansion belonging to the family of his wife, singer Carla Bruni, in Cap Negre on the western Riviera.
