Bernard Madoff's Penthouse sold

Bernard Madoff’s Manhattan penthouse has gone into contract for an undisclosed price. It was originally listed for $9.9 million in September and later was cut to $8.9 million.
The buyer, Toy magnate Alfred R. Kahn, would get a 4,000 square foot duplex cooperative apartment on the 11th and 12th floors of 133 E. 64th Street.
The three bedrooms are on the lower floor, and the living room, kitchen and a wraparound terrace are above.

Madoff's Long Island Home Sells For $9.41M

Bernard Madoff's former beach home off the eastern-most point of New York's Long Island sold for $9.41 million the U.S. Marshals Service said on Friday.
The sale of the house was announced a month ago but not the purchase price or the buyers.
Several bidders tried to get their hands on Madoff's former home, which measures 3,000 square feet and has four bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Banker turned foreclosed home into personal party pad

The Los Angeles Times reports that Cheronda Guyton, Wells Fargo bank's senior VP for foreclosed properties, has spent much of the last summer using a foreclosed house in the neighborhood as her personal party pad.
The 3,800 square foot, beach front home had been owned by a couple who lost their money with scamster Bernie Madoff.
It was valued at $12 million when it was taken back by the bank in May.

Bernie Madoff's beach house sold

Madoff's home in Montauk, which went up for sale two weeks ago, has found a buyer.
ABC News reports the beachfront home has been sold to an unidentified person in an all cash deal "for more than the $8.75 million asking price" according to Joan and Raymond Hegner of the Corcoran Group.
"We have a fully signed contract," said Joan Hegner, who added that interest in the convicted conman's beachfront property was "fast and furious."

The penthouse is listed at $9.9 million and features an elliptical staircase, spacious living room, luxurious master and all the beige you could ever want.
The master suite is downstairs and has a huge walk-in closet and a marble bathroom. The small library has custom built-ins and one of Madoff's beloved bull statues slouches in the corner.
