Madonna is selling her Beverly Hills home for $28 million, which she bought in 2003 for a cool $12 million.
After dropping $32 million on her townhouse at 152 East 81st Street last April, Madonna is making some major changes to her 12,000-square-foot pad, according to the New York Post. The celeb singer is adding a new, 1,614-square-foot floor to her home, which will be used as a gym, according to city records
Madonna plans to expand her property portfolio with the new purchase in the Hamptons, a star-studded vacation spot, for under $10 million. Wild Ocean Farm, currently owned by Kelly Klein, wife of fashion mogul Calvin Klein, boasts 30 acres of land. There is no house on the farm, just accommodation for a groom. The star is also thought to be trying to buy 24 acres of a neighboring property on which to ride, for another $2.4 million.
Madonna is buying her boyfriend a $2.7 million New York apartment. The singer is reportedly splashing out the impressive sum so 23-year-old model Jesus Luz can be close to her $32million house in Manhattan. A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Madonna is buying Jesus an apartment in New York. She has her real estate agent searching for the perfect pad for him in the new neighborhood where she has just moved.
Madonna has taken advantage of the credit crunch - by negotiating a US$7.5 million price cut on her new Manhattan townhouse, the NY Times reports. The singer was reported to have splashed out US$40 million on the georgian-style mansion in the posh Upper East Side area of New York. But now real estate insiders have revealed that Madonna drove a hard bargain - and landed the property for just US$32.5 million.
