Rush Limbaugh Puts NYC Penthouse Up For Sale

Conservative talk radio blowhard Rush Limbaugh has put his Fifth Avenue penthouse on the market.

Limbaugh promised that he'd sell his Manhattan apartment last March after the Paterson administration proposed raising taxes on New York residents who make more than $500,000 a year.

The 20th-floor penthouse at 1049 Fifth Avenue, which Limbaugh purchased in 1994 was officially listed two weeks ago for $13.95 million.

Bernard Madoff's Penthouse sold

Bernard Madoff’s Manhattan penthouse has gone into contract for an undisclosed price. It was originally listed for $9.9 million in September and later was cut to $8.9 million.

The buyer, Toy magnate Alfred R. Kahn, would get a 4,000 square foot duplex cooperative apartment on the 11th and 12th floors of 133 E. 64th Street.

The three bedrooms are on the lower floor, and the living room, kitchen and a wraparound terrace are above.

After more than two years on the market, Supermodel Gisele Bündchen has finally found a buyer for her triplex penthouse at 347 West 11th Street.

The latest listing price of $4.5 million was less than half the original, September 2007 price tag.

Ms. Bündchen bought the 1,700-square-foot condominium unit in 2002 for nearly $3 million, records show.

Penthouse in Manhattan's Time Warner Center sells for $37.5M

According to the New York Observer, a five-bedroom, 8,300-square-foot penthouse at the Time Warner Center, which was the single most expensive apartment on the market in New York City when it came on in 2008 for $65 million, has sold for just over half that asking price.

Austrian-born, Princeton-educated investor Gerhard Andlinger got $37.5 million for his apartment, the biggest New York City residential deal in nearly one year.
