This beautiful stunning residential house design news is a modern Lake Travis Retreat located in central Texas designed by Dick Clark Architecture to accommodate a family as it grows, and play host to friends and extended family, the ideas that inform the design of the house were developed through an unusual process.

This retreat house design’s primary views is to focus on interior courtyards or the lake itself with the concept was to keep the scale of the house as small as possible to get effectively maintained on details and materials.

The exterior walls of this lake travis retreat was made of sandstone, were assembled through a drystack method, in which no mortar was used.

London's biggest home to be created in Regent's Park

London’s largest home after Buckingham Palace is to be created by Regent’s Park, in a £100m complex complete with a cinema, gym and swimming pool.

Developers have won planning permission to convert a row of seven office buildings into a vast ten-bedroom stuccoed mansion.

When completed, the 50,000 sq ft Regency terrace will claim the title of London's largest residence after Buckingham Palace. Witanhurst manor in Highgate currently holds that title.

The owners of an iconic Los Angeles house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and inspired by ancient Mayan architecture have cut its price to $10.5 million, 30% less than the $15 million asked last June.

Ala Moana, is a newly constructed project on Hamilton Island, Great Barrier Reef, Australia.

The home’s name is derived from a Hawaiian term that translates to “ocean pathways,” a reference to the winding path that circumnavigates the house before arriving at the entry.

Gartner Trovato Architects have recently completed a house in Bayview, NSW, Australia. The house is located on a 1,200m2 block of land with a significant fall from the street.

The site is oddly shaped with its longest boundaries running east-west allowing for orientation to the north with magnificent views over Pittwater and surrounding area.

The design form follows the topography and shape of the land, a slender footprint allow for cross ventilation and solar access to all rooms of the house whilst maintaining views of Pittwater from every room.
