Actor-producer-director Tom Hanks has purchased the contemporary Pacific Palisades home of veteran producers Kathleen Kennedyand Frank Marshall, according to area real estate agents.

The sales price was listed at slightly more than $26 million at Blockshopper.com, a news and market data service.

Larry Hagman, who played oil tycoon J.R. Ewing on the prime-time drama "Dallas," has trimmed the price of his Ojai, Calif., estate to $9.5 million, an 11% cut.

Mr. Hagman, 78 years old, and his wife, Maj, built the 43-acre property, about 80 miles northwest of Los Angeles, in 1992.

It includes a Mediterranean-style house with nine bedrooms and a large entertaining space that fits more than 200 guests with a lap pool and retractable roof.

Conservative talk radio blowhard Rush Limbaugh has put his Fifth Avenue penthouse on the market.

Limbaugh promised that he'd sell his Manhattan apartment last March after the Paterson administration proposed raising taxes on New York residents who make more than $500,000 a year.

The 20th-floor penthouse at 1049 Fifth Avenue, which Limbaugh purchased in 1994 was officially listed two weeks ago for $13.95 million.

Bob Parsons, the founder and CEO of Web-hosting company GoDaddy.com, paid $8.72 million for a Balinese-style house on Hawaii's Big Island that was built by Cher and went to auction last month. "We never thought in a million years that we'd end up being the buyer," says Mr. Parsons.

GoDaddy.com helps consumers register Web domain names and is also known for its racy Super Bowl TV ads.

The Hawaiian property, at the Four Seasons' Hualalai resort, includes a main house flanked by four one-bedroom bungalows

The Wall Street Journal's Private Properties reports that billionaire software entrepreneur and philanthropist Tom Siebel is selling his 62,000-acre Montana cattle ranch for $45 million.

The N Bar Ranch is located about 90 miles north of Billings, Montana and is one of the state's oldest and largest cattle ranches.

The ranch has a carrying capacity estimated at over 2,000 animals and offers a varied landscape that includes meadows, pastures, timber and open range.
