Gary Neville’s £8 million luxury eco bunker
January 28, 2010 - United Kingdom

Manchester United star Gary Neville is planning to build an underground country home utilizing the latest eco technology that leaves minimal impact on the views of surroundings.
Designed by Make Architects, the 8,000-sq-ft luxury eco bunker would be built in the grounds of Gary Neville's £8 million ($13m) estate in Lancashire.

The computer generated pictures give an idea of how this luxury bunker will look like when ready.
The bunker shaped as a flower has petals radiating from a central kitchen, each designated as respective areas to "eat, relax, entertain, work and play."

The building will have solar panels, a ground source heat pump and a wind turbine.
Renewable energy produced by the wind turbine will also power Neville's neighborhood property and all excess energy will be supplied back to the national grid.
