BAY HOUSE

Living in luxury. As we hardly know it in the Netherlands. Surrounded by high-end facilities, top design and boundless facilities. This is possible in Rotterdam. Here in Katendrecht the Rijnhaven District is being developed; an epicentre of fashion and design, art, culture, architecture and entertainment. In this quarter of an hour, the most prestigious apartment complex in the Maasstad will be built: Bay House.

Bay House will be built on the quay at the Rijnhaven with a view of the only real skyline in the Netherlands, the Wilhelmina Pier. It is a district with a fascinating history. From a rugged port, the district transformed into one of the most lively nightlife areas. Terraces on the sturdy quayside, trendy restaurants, theatres, festivals and the view over the water determine the atmosphere here.

With the development of the Rijnhaven District, Rotterdam is really growing into a city on two banks. The Bay House, which is approximately 40 metres high, has ten floors that start on the second floor. The ground and first floors are used for lobbies, catering and retail. Bay House offers approximately 88 owner-occupied apartments with areas ranging from around 85 to as much as 1,000 square metres. Each apartment has one (or more) private outdoor space(s). The majority of the Bay House apartments are oriented towards the Rijnhaven. This location guarantees a phenomenal view over the water and the Wilhelmina Pier, perhaps the most beautiful view of Rotterdam and the Netherlands.

On the ground floor, on the quay side, there are two impressive entrances. The height of over eight meters illustrates the sovereign class of what lies beyond. Both entrances have a room for the caretaker, a lounge and two passenger lifts and a main stairwell.

All apartments are available in Rough as standard; Rough is similar to airframe completion: you are completely free to make your own layout, you arrange the interior design and the completion of your apartment yourself. Most of the apartments are optionally available as Signature, i.e. finished to the design of one of our interior designers.

With the Signature option, the apartment is equipped with interior walls, electricity, plastered walls and ceilings, interior doors of Bod'or and an extensive basic installation of home automation. Also included are the kitchen, sanitary facilities and tiling of the House of Representatives Interiors (TKI). The kitchen and interior doors will be placed after completion. Of course, personal wishes and preferences can be taken into account.

CONCIERGE RESIDENTIAL LIVING

Living in a luxurious hotel owned by yourself is the best way to imagine living in Bay House. In a spectacular location with breathtaking views over the quay. Everything Bay House promises outside without words is delivered inside with the convenience and comfort of Concierge Residential Living.

In the two lobbies of Bay House designed by interior designer Robert Kolenik, you are invariably welcomed by the concierge. The concierge takes care of general management and security. In the lobby there is also a dedicated parcel box that facilitates all parcel and mail delivery services.

In addition, Bay House residents can optionally make use of personal services such as clothing and dry-cleaning services, chores and valet parking. These additional services can be ordered via the Bay House Service App.

Underneath the Bay House complex at -1, a Q-Park parking garage will be built for visitors to the Rijnhaven District. Bay House residents will be able to purchase one (or more) of their own permanent parking space(s) in the separate floor accessible to the residents and the hotel on -2. On this floor you will also find the storage rooms and bicycle sheds.

In addition, a commercial, luxurious fitness room will be set up in the building, which can also be used by residents. For those who love greenery, the roofs of Bay House will be used to create strips of plants that create a beautiful contrast with the image of the buildings and the sky.

WATERFRONT RESIDENCES

Bay House offers 65 Waterfront Residences with breathtaking views over the water to the Wilhelmina Pier skyline. These apartments vary in size (from approximately 80 m² to 185 m²) and the same goes for the outdoor space that they all have. For the Waterfront Residences on the fourth and ninth floors there is the option to choose a larger apartment: we offer the possibility to connect several apartments there.

TOWN RESIDENCES

The Town Residences are the only Bay House houses that are located directly on the courtyard garden instead of on the Rijnhaven. Also special is that there are only three of them. Yet that is not the only thing that makes these apartments special. It is also the location on the corner with an orientation to the southwest that gives these apartments a very personal quality of living. Because this means a lot of light, space and views of the green benefits that the roof garden offers. The Town Residences vary in size from approximately 150 m² to 180 m².

MAISONETTES

Bay House offers five Maisonettes: corner apartments with a double floor and spectacular views over both the Rijnhaven and Santos Square. The void creates a generous ceiling height that gives an overwhelming feeling of space. The presence of no less than two outdoor spaces is unprecedented. The Maisonettes have a usable area of approximately 160 m².

TERRACED RESIDENCES

On the second floor of Bay House there are five special housing types, the Terraced Residences. All unique apartments, ranging in size from approximately 140 m² to 245 m², with ceiling heights of 3.36 metres and very spacious terraces from 55 m², which invite you to stay outside as much and as often as possible. The combination of the large outdoor spaces with the exceptional quality of life give these apartments the atmosphere of a cosmopolitan loft of great class.

PENTHOUSES

The second highest floor is reserved for the Penthouses in Bay House. This is living without borders. Because there is no limit to the area of 235 m², up to 285 m². ROYAL PENTHOUSES
