Carter’s Bridge Farm is situated in the heart of the Cambridgeshire Fens, lying to the north of the market town of Chatteris. The farm benefits from excellent road connections, with easy access to the A141 and A142, and good links to the M11 at Cambridge and the A1(M) at Peterborough.

Lot Four extends to approximately 60.33 acres of high-quality Grade 1 and 2 farmland, located to the north of the Chatteris bypass. The land is divided by the Nightlayer Ditch, with three fields lying to the north and four to the south. Access is available directly from Long Nightlayer’s Drove to the north and Short Nightlayers Drove to the south.

Fenland Reservoir Proposal

Lot Four falls within an area identified in early plans for the proposed Fenland Reservoir by Anglian Water and Cambridge Water. Parts of the lot may lie within zones marked for environmental mitigation, construction, or related uses.
