October 29, 2009 - Antigua and Barbuda
Rock 'n' Roller Eric Clapton, who is in his 60's, is offering his 45-acre estate on Antigua at $50,000 a week, Wall Street Journal said.
The property is known as Standfast Point and was built in 2000. Additions in ensuing years brought the total cost to about $14 million.
The 10,000-square-foot complex, on a hilly area in the southeastern part of the island, looks out to the islands of Montserrat and Guadeloupe. There are covered terraces, outdoor dining areas and two pools.
The property sleeps 14 and rents with a full staff. The musician, who is known for his luxurious lifestyle, has used the estate as a winter retreat for his family.
