Real Housewives Cast Member’s Home Sells for $20 Million
October 26, 2012 - Beverly Hills
One month after putting their home on the market, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast member Adrienne Maloof and her husband, plastic surgeon Paul Nassif, have sold their home for nearly $20 million.
The couple listed the home in late September for $26 million because they are divorcing. Mauricio Umansky, the listing agent, says the home sold quickly because inventory in the Beverly Park neighborhood has become scarce in the past two years.
The home is located in north Beverly Park, where lots tend to be larger and homes are newer. Mr. Umansky, who founded Los Angeles real-estate firm the Agency, is also the husband of another Real Housewives' co-star, Kyle Richards.
Mr. Umansky says the buyer is an L.A. businessman who was looking in the neighborhood for a long time and liked the French chateau-style of the nearly 20,000-square-foot home.
The estate has eight bedrooms and 11 bathrooms and was designed by well-known architect Richard Landry. It has a wine cellar, gym and screening room.
The 2-acre property includes a pool, a guesthouse and manicured grounds and sits across the street from the former home of another Beverly Hills housewife, Lisa Vanderpump, which sold last year.
Built in 2000, Ms. Maloof and Mr. Nassif bought the home eight years ago for $12.7 million, according to public records.
