November 25, 2013 - Cambodia
Cambodia’s first luxury branded resort residences, Alila Villas Koh Russey, is set to be exhibited this week in Hong Kong, in an attempt to attract further investment.
Located on an island 25-km from the coastal city of Sihanoukville, the 25-hectare project, managed by Alila Hotels & Resorts, will be showcased at an exhibition from 29 November to 1 December, sole sales agent CBRE recently told The Phnom Penh Post.
"We hope the fair in Hong Kong on the Alila Villas Koh Russey Resort project will help the development become a new attraction in the heart of Cambodia's beach, one of the most famous and beautiful beach clubs in the world," deputy director Ann Sothida said. "It will not only attract tourists, but also business people and more foreign investors."
Alila Villas at Koh Russey, developed by Singapore-based CP Star, comprises 227 high-end residences, in addition to a 48-room five-star hotel and an array of restaurants and bars. Prices range from USD480,000 for 116 sqm for one-bedroom pool villas to USD2 million for 209 sqm four-bedroom units.
"Alila Villas Koh Russey offers a rare opportunity to own one of the most beautiful residences imaginable, with timeless, ecological design, influenced by the Khmer culture and professionally managed by a well respected hospitality brand," David Simister, CBRE Cambodia chairman, told Luxury Travel Magazine.
