If it fetches its asking price, the waterfront home would also set a new record for the highest-priced home sale in Fort Lauderdale.
Located on the New River, the Mediterranean Revival home took about three years to build and was completed a little over a year ago, the agents said.
Measuring about 16,000 square feet, the four-bedroom main house boasts many elaborate features including a hand-carved marble bath tub, built-in watch-winders in a master bedroom closet, a massage room with a wall of yellow onyx and a kitchen with a built-in saltwater aquarium.
The house is being sold fully furnished, including about 20 televisions, the agents said. Outside, the property includes a floating concrete dock and a two-bedroom guest house with a yacht captain’s chart room on the lower level.
There’s also a swimming pool, a roof deck with a hot tub and an outdoor living room with a fireplace and television.
