December 22, 2014 - Ho Chi Minh
Standing at 350 metres, the tallest luxury skyscraper in Vietnam from developer Vingroup has begun construction this week in Ho Chi Minh City.
Slated to be inaugurated at the end of 2017, the residential tower development comprises 81 storeys and will be called Landmark81.
It is situated within the upscale Vinhomes Central Park complex, an upscale riverfront master-planned development along Saigon River.
Aside from being touted as Vietnam’s tallest luxury tower and observatory, the project also boasts of Southeast Asia’s highest restaurant and bar.
Meanwhile, the 43.9-hectare ‘green’ complex will feature high-end hotels including a Vinpearl-branded establishment, several commercial and office spaces, upscale shopping malls, bars, restaurants, an observatory, a green park and some 900 officetel and serviced apartment units under the Vinhomes brand.
An observatory on the 79th floor promises visitors with full, gorgeous panoramas of the city and areas in the vicinity.
