Hong Kong residential prices jump to new high

Hong Kong's home prices have hit another record high, increasing for the 17th straight month in August (2017), according to RTHK.
Government data today showed that a price index for all private flats increased by 0.44 percent from July.
The index grew by 18 percent year-on-year for August, compared with a 19.8 percent jump in July.
The Rating and Valuation Department figures show that property prices have gone up by 10.3 percent since the start of this year.
