Koh Samui-based developer Panoramic Estate Company recently launched a high-end villa project in the Thai island's Choeng Mon Beach neighbourhood.

The Ridge, an 11-unit development boasting panoramic sea views, will, upon completion, feature villas ranging in size from 276 to 859 sqm, with prices starting at THB17.3 million (USD543,000).

Designed to capitalise on the impressive surroundings, natural light and sea breezes, the three- and four-bedroom villas comprise an integrated Jacuzzi, infinity pool and expansive balcony.

Located a stone's throw away from Chaweng, the island's main lifestyle and nightlife zone, the project will also be conveniently located near to Central Festival shopping mall, which is slated to open March 2014

Due to Koh Samui's year-round appeal as a tourist destination, the developer expects The Ridge to deliver between 13 to 19 percent in gross rental yields.
