London’s Kings Gate SW1 targets Asian buyers

Asian investors' current appetite for London-based property appears to be limitless, with the English capital's latest luxury offering Kings Gate SW1 set to for its Bangkok launch, next week.
Developed by the UK's largest property company Land Securities, units at the project will be showcased at an exclusive cocktail party, held by Savills, at St Regis Bangkok on May 14.
From its highly-prized central location, Kings Gate SW1 will offer residents views of iconic landmarks, such as Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament and the Thames.
Upon completion, it will include 100 units, ranging from studio apartments to four bedroom penthouses, each with private terrace space.
Kings Gate will be part of a wider development, designed by Lynch Architects, which is set to feature public gardens, high-end retail outlets, restaurants and 17,652 sqm of office space.
The residential project, slated for completion in 2015, also offers concierge service, 24-hour security and easy access to the nearby Victoria mainline and tube station. Unit prices start from GPB740,000 (US$1.15 million)
For those investors unable to make it to next Tuesday's cocktail and launch party, which starts at 18:00, appointments can be made to visit the Kings Gate Exhibition Centre, located All Seasons Place Bangkok until May 30.
