London Townhouse Lists for $42 Million
August 06, 2014 - London
A large townhouse in central London has been listed for £25 million, or about $42.4 million.
The roughly 10,000-square-foot, 13-bedroom, eight-bathroom property, built between 1826 and 1845, comprises three separate apartments and a mews house and overlooks Eaton Place in London's Belgravia district.
The building has a ground-floor patio, a first-floor terrace, a large roof terrace and a private elevator.
Christian Warman, the selling agent with Savills in London, says the building is suitable as a family home or for a buyer looking to rent it out as an investment.
He says the seller acquired the apartments over a period of time and now owns the whole building.
The building has an adjoining mews house, which is currently occupied with a lease set to expire in September 2030.
