Apartment on Central Park West Is Listing for $42 Million
February 16, 2015 - Manhattan
A roughly 7,000-square-foot co-op apartment on Manhattan’s Upper West Side is listing for $42 million.
Located on the ninth floor of 101 Central Park West, an 18-story prewar building, the apartment has 100 feet of frontage overlooking Central Park across the combined living, dining and library areas.
There are five bedrooms, not including a maid’s room, five bathrooms and two powder rooms.
The owners bought the apartment for about $12.2 million in 2003, the most expensive sale in the building that year.
The owners completed a three-year renovation of the space about eight years ago, which modernized the layout and finishes and added smart home features. There are exposures on all four sides and nonreflective windows to prevent glare.
Randall Gianopulos and Serena Boardman of Sotheby’s International Realty have the listing.
