321 Ocean Penthouse Asks Record-Breaking $53M
January 14, 2016 - Miami Beach
Six months after closing on a newly constructed Miami Beach penthouse for $20 million, the owners are putting the unit back on the market for $53 million.
The ninth-floor unit is at 321 Ocean, a beachfront condo building completed earlier this year, said listing agent Jorge Uribe of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty. Roughly 6,800 square feet, the penthouse has four bedrooms plus staff quarters and comes with a private roofdeck with an outdoor kitchen, a dining table that fits about 40 people, a fire pit and an infinity pool overlooking the ocean. In total, the unit has about 6,400 square feet of outdoor space, Mr. Uribe estimated.
The sellers are financier Boris Jordan and his wife, photographer and philanthropist Elizabeth Jordan.
The couple went into contract on the unit more than a year ago, before the building was completed, Mr. Uribe said. The unit is being sold fully furnished, including photographs taken by Ms. Jordan.
Mr. Uribe said the couple decided to sell after seeing other Miami penthouses fetch big-ticket prices.
