Bruce Willis Selling Turks and Caicos Home
April 25, 2019 - Parrot Cay
On Turks and Caicos’ Parrot Cay island, actor Bruce Willis is listing his sprawling beachfront compound—which includes a yoga pavilion and a pirate ship playground—for $33 million.
If the property sold for its asking price it would set a record price for the islands, according listing agent Nina Siegenthaler of Turks and Caicos Sotheby’s International Realty.
The record was set in 2016 by the $27.5 million sale of a nearby property known as Oliver’s Cove, the agent said.
Parrot Cay is home to only about a dozen private estates, Ms. Siegenthaler said. Other celebrities who have homes there include Donna Karan and Christie Brinkley.
Mr. Willis bought the site in 2000, and completed the home there in 2004. He married Emma Heming-Willis on the property about a decade ago, and the couple renewed their vows there earlier this month, they said in a statement.
The roughly 13,500-square-foot Asian-inspired compound sits on 7.37 waterfront acres and comprises five bedrooms across the main house and two adjacent casitas.
There are also two three-bedroom guest villas. Outside, there is the shaded yoga pavilion, beach cabanas, the children’s playground, beach volleyball and banana, coconut and papaya trees.
The couple’s agent said they are selling as part of a larger relocation from the East Coast to California.
The Willises listed their 22-acre country estate near Bedford Corners, N.Y., for $12.95 million earlier this year.
