Rancho Sante Fe Estate Listed at Record $92 Million
May 19, 2016 - Rancho Santa Fe
A 210-acre ranch in the affluent San Diego suburb of Rancho Santa Fe is listing for $92 million, making it the priciest home for sale in the area, according to Linda Sansone of Willis Allen Real Estate.
Del Dios Ranch could also become the priciest home sale in San Diego County by far: The current record is the 2007 purchase of a $35 million beachfront home in Del Mar.
Designed by architect Fred Briggs, the property’s four-bedroom main house was built in the early 1970s and measures about 8,500 square feet.
At the entrance, visitors pass through concrete columns to white brass gates, then through a courtyard with water features to a stained glass front door.
The house also includes a roughly 3,000-square-foot pavilion containing an indoor swimming pool, hot tub and a bar.
The gated estate includes a one-bedroom guesthouse, a tennis court, an equestrian barn and a driving range, as well as a lemon grove.
Ms. Sansone is listing the property with colleague Linda Daniels, with international marketing by Christie’s International Real Estate.
