May 06, 2014 - Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia is gearing up to welcome an estimated 8,000 realtors, designers and investors at the upcoming Cityscape Jeddah 2014.
The fifth annual Jeddah Urban Development and Real Estate Event, dubbed “Kingdom on the Rise,” will be held from 4 May to 6 May at the Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events. It features workshops, forums and property exhibitions for the region’s forthcoming high-profile projects.
“Cityscape Jeddah brings together regional and international investors, developers, architects and designers, governmental authorities, key decision makers and senior executives involved in the design and construction of public and private real estate developments,” said Dr. Abdullah bin Mahfouz, chairman of National Exhibitions Company, organisers of the annual show.
“These are the people who have the power to influence and shape the curve of Jeddah’s real estate market,” he added.
Jeddah will be home to the future tallest tower in the world, the 1 km-high Burj al Mamlakah, also known as the Kingdom Tower.
Deyaar Development, one of the largest regional property developers in Dubai, is one of the many exhibitors in the three-day showcase.
The UAE-based company is set to highlight its yoo Studio-designed The Atria project, among others, to attract foreign investors.
Organisers are also giving out special awards on the opening day of the convention. Known as the ‘2014 Cityscape Awards for Real Estate’, the event will recognise the best in the Kingdom’s property sector, including residential, commercial, mixed-use and cultural developments.
