ZEROLABOFFICE have completed a renovation of a 1930s era townhouse in Shanghai.

The exterior retains several design elements from the 30s, however the interior has been almost entirely transformed into a spatially impressive, modern, minimalist home.

"Using sliding walls, sloping partitions, a strong color palette, and distinctive materials for surfaces, a comfortable open plan environment was created that enhances its narrow floor plan."
