A Newly Built English Mansion Seeks Over $27 Million
March 13, 2015 - South East
A newly built English mansion has listed for more than $27 million on the Wentworth Estate, an expensive area in Surrey within commuting distance from London.
Built on about 1½ acres, the roughly 9,600-square-foot house was completed at the end of last year. It has five bedrooms, five en suite bathrooms and four reception rooms.
What distinguishes this house from other similar properties in the area is the quality of the materials, said listing agent James Cleland of Knight Frank. He highlights the cappuccino marble tiles, sourced by the owner in Italy.
The house also has an indoor swimming pool, steam room, sauna, shower and a cold-plunge pool.
There is also a wine cellar with space for more than 2,000 bottles and parking space for at least five cars.
Prices in Wentworth’s most expensive area range from about $6.2 million to around $77 million.
