Comedian Steve Martin has sold his villa on the Caribbean island of St. Barthelemy, according to listing agent Christian Wattiau of Sibarth Real Estate, an exclusive affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate.

The four-bedroom home originally went on the market in 2013 for $11.24 million. The roughly 3,000-square-foot home saw several price cuts and was last listed at $7.78 million. 

The house sits on a hilltop and has sweeping ocean views, Mr. Wattiau said, with the islands of Saint Martin and Anguilla also visible. “You’re on one of the summits of the island,” he said.

The home has a two-tiered outdoor swimming pool overlooking the water and a covered outdoor dining area.

The master suite has an outdoor shower and a private wooden deck with a sunken hot tub.

In the garden, a colorful gazebo is surrounded by a lily pond. The house also has a caretaker’s apartment.
