The late American actor, filmmaker and artist Dennis Hopper's extensive art collection is headed to Christie's this fall, and the space that housed it is also going on the market.
Hopper's home in Venice Californiais listed with Coldwell Banker Previews International for US$6.245 million.
The estate includes an "Art Barn" and three loft-style townhouses created by architect Frank Gehry, as well as a 446 sq m main residence designed by Brian A. Murphy.
The main house is constructed of corrugated steel, and the three townhouses are all open, loft-style spaces.
Overall the compound extends to over 1,439 sq m of living space with a lushly landscaped yard, a lap pool and pool house.
