Cape Cod’s Most Expensive Listing is Asking $25 Million
January 08, 2020 - Woods Hole
A sprawling estate on Cape Cod is coming on the market for $25 million, making it the most expensive listing in the area.
If it sold for its asking price, the property would set a record for the most expensive sale in Cape Cod, said listing agent Kerrie Marzot of Sotheby’s.
It includes a traditional-style main home, a guesthouse, elaborate grounds and gardens, a 36-foot swimming pool and a boathouse with a wood-burning fireplace and a deep water dock, said Ms. Marzot. The waters of Great Harbor and Buzzards Bay surround the property on three sides.
The four-bedroom main house has columns and large decks overlooking the water.
The property has a dramatic circular entry foyer with decorative windows, a formal dining room and a large living room with a wood-burning fireplace and french doors opening to a waterfront deck. There is also an office as well as a library with reclaimed chestnut paneling.
The guesthouse includes an additional two bedrooms as well as a living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a kitchen with a dining area and a deck.
The property also includes stretches of private beach.
