When you take the first steps onto Marmorstigen, a path winding between whitewashed facades and red wooden barns, it's as if time stood still. An outstanding property with a rich history and wonderful location – this describes the Marble Quarry.

As early as the 17th century, the Swedish green marble began to be quarried in the mountain above the mill. During the following 300 years it was used for interior decoration in both the Drottningholm Palace and Rockefeller Center in New York. Just below the mountain, only a few meters from the waters of Bråviken, are the preserved old buildings Kalkladan (Limestone Barn) and Tegelladan (Brick Barn).

The Brick Barn is well preserved on the outside with an updated interior. Here are representative rooms and halls with large windows facing the water. On the entrance level, limestone adorn the floors, and both the dining room and the great hall has fireplaces in green marble. Even the surface of the bathroom is clad in the stylish marble. The Limestone Barn is a large open building, with breathtaking ceiling height, where parties and events for large groups can be held.

The plot continues down to the water, with several small red wooden houses at the water's edge, and a jetty for several boats. The outermost jetty can accommodate a sailboat, while smaller boats can be sheltered in the inner part. Next to the jetty is the Port Office, consisting of two bedrooms, bathrooms and sauna. Furthermore, there are other buildings with both storage and accommodation.
