The property is a historic gem, already chosen by the Etruscans, as a dwelling between Valdichiana and Val d'Orcia. The building then had its heyday in the 1800s and to this day has been perfectly renovated immersed in a large unspoiled park.
The rooms and rooms are finely frescoed and magically preserved and enjoy a view of Montepulciano, in the enchantment of an incredible panorama that extends to Lake Trasimeno until it trespasses on the horizon to the Apennines.

On the ground floor of the villa there is a large living room and a large room where, in their original beauty, frescoes were recovered in which there are scenes from the Napoleonic countryside and the coat of arms of the "Tarugi" family to remember the ancient origin of the villa and the emotional closeness with the great leader for part of a noble sister "Tarugi". Also on the ground floor there is a room with bathroom and entrance independent of the garden. All the furnishings are proper to the villa with the colors of the time, the trines, the paintings of flowers, still the old grit of the floors make it particularly suggestive.

A large stone staircase leads to the first floor, enclosed in marbled arches and bathed in light of the garden that spreads from the windows of the mezzanine. Here we find a room completely frescoed and finely furnished and has its own space, the entrance hallway is separated from the other rooms with an ancient gate thus granting intimacy and confidentiality , the bathroom has kept the elements first twentieth century, ceramics were the furnishings of the "Comfortable Places" intended for people of a certain social caliber. The view of the garden and the old stables make it pleasantly quiet.
The hallway full of decorations leads to two other finely frescoed rooms.
A suite with a living room and fireplace that retains a unique flavor, from the windows you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama. Montepulciano seems to touch but the view extends down to The Valdichiana and the Apennine chain, San Biagio and Montefollonico on the left, among rows of centuries-old cypress trees with a countryside cultivated with vines and olive trees and rich in history.
Another room, really from the past, has a large exposed bathtub inside and the bathroom enclosed in a Tromp l'oeil, as it was used in ancient, make it particularly suggestive and the ceiling fresco inspired by musical motifs completes the picture.

Climbing up again you get to the second floor from which you really enjoy a unique panorama, five rooms always finely furnished with spectacular views.

Adjacent to the Villa have been well renovated both the stables and two additional outbuildings that are cozy apartments with living room, kitchen, room and bathroom.

In the large park, finely cared for with gazebos, flowers and paths, is located the ancient Church, consecrated and officiated, named after the Virgin that was a reference for the countryside and object of great devotion.
The view of the vineyards and the city of Montepulciano refines the magic of the place.
