GEOGRAPHIC POSITION Only 5 km from the sea and from the nearest town, Il Monastero sul mare overlooks the surrounding hills, with an incomparable view on the Adriatic coast.The first news regarding the structure date back to 1564, when it was built to become a Convent of the Cappuccini monks. In 1900 the buildings were expanded and enriched, and the property was converted into a private residence. DESCRIPTION OF THE BUILDING The Monastero sul mare is a property of high historical value, which is characterized by typical charm and the preservation of the original materials. Of great importance is the sixteenth-century cloister, which is still the heart of the complex, along with the beautiful porch that surrounds the four sides of the paved courtyard enriched by the ancient well. Around the cloister there are the elegant halls, whose decor pays great attention to each single detail. Among the halls stands out the Tavernetta with its Tyrolean atmosphere, as well as the main hall, whose arrangement reminds of the ancient refectory of the convent.Significant is also the typical feature of the study and the ten bedrooms, each with its own unique fingerprint. EXTERNAL AREA The outdoor area extends for 1,25 hectares including 7500 vineyard and 5000 square metres of park with tennis court, flower essences, barbecue area, swimming pool, gym, tennis court, three outbuildings and a large terrace where you can enjoy an incomparable view over the surrounding countryside and the Adriatic Coast.
