This unique holiday villa is located in a small village near the town of Novigrad and it dates back to the 16 th century, but it was completely restored with designer’s signature of the renowned Croatian architect who interpreted the timeless style of an authentic Istrian residence in a contemporary way. The villa is fully equipped with high-quality furnishings and features some luxurious amenities that perfectly complement the hedonistic ambiance of the villa and offer uncompromising enjoyment of an authentic environment close to many tourist attractions.
Villa Idylle is a three-story property boasting a traditional Istrian interior design that has been modernized with contemporary elements characteristic of the industrial style, resulting in a warm and pleasant interior that invites you to enjoy an easygoing Mediterranean ambiance and a picturesque surrounding enhanced by vineyards and olive groves that cannot leave you indifferent. The rich history and tradition of the villa Idylle are emphasized by antiquities from Italy and objects that belonged to the members of the family who owned the villa, while the original stone floor from the 16th century is reminiscent of old times giving a special charm to the interior. The ground floor of the villa consists of the living room, spacious dining room, fully fitted kitchen and toilet. Three comfortable bedrooms with private bathrooms are located on the first floor and one of them has direct exit to the terraces with access to a beautifully landscaped garden area. The remaining two bedrooms with bathrooms are situated on the second floor. A charming Mediterranean garden area enriched with lavender, rosemary and olive groves is completely fenced by stone walls, providing utmost privacy and allowing you to enjoy a breathtaking garden with a large saltwater swimming pool, a sunbathing area with comfortable sun loungers, and a summer kitchen with an outdoor grill area for unforgettable outdoor gatherings.
The owners can offer various water sports activities at a discount or organize private classes with yoga instructor and it is also possible to book a massage at the villa or arrange a yacht or boat.
The villa is located only 4 kilometers away from the nearest beach, and in the vicinity of the villa, there are also famous Istrian towns Umag, Poreč and Rovinj. Villa Idylle has received two awards in 2018 - one is the prestigious award for the most beautiful rental house in Croatia and the other award is for the best architecture project in the world.
