楼盘简介

The first mention of the existence of a castle at Sugenheim is found in documentation from the year 1376. In the year 1386, the castle became the property of the von Seckendorff family, and remained in the von Seckendorff-Aberdar family’s hands until 1972. The New Palace was constructed in its current form through a complete renovation and consolidation of existing historic structures in the years 1746-1749, and thereafter served the family as its main residence. In 1744, Christoph Friedrich Freiherr v. Seckendorff-Aberdar (1679-1759), chief minister at the court of the Margrave of Ansbach,
commissioned a redesign of the palace from well-known court architect Leopoldo Retty (1705-1751). Retty had already made his name as the chief architect of the Residenz in Karlsruhe and of the New Palace in Stuttgart.
Today the New Palace is a Bavarian cultural monument and, due to its size and layout, is suitable for a wide range of uses. The approx. 1,485 m² living space is divided into 32 rooms plus 12 bathrooms/toilets and three kitchens. The building offers a further 200 m² of utility space. The palace is in good technical condition and could be quickly put to use.
After the restoration, Sugenheim Palace became a meeting place used by government officials and business. Politicians such as Chancellor Angela Merkel, Bundestag Vice President Renate Schmidt, and Federal Minister Werner Dollinger, to name just a few, have met in the Palace. World-famous automakers, various corporations, and government authorities have also made use of the historic location. Wedding ceremonies have been held in the Gothic chapel and the Palace has also hosted many wedding receptions. Various antiques and Advent fairs with palace tours have taken place here. The Rose Festival with over 5,000 visitors was the most recent event to be held at the Palace.
