Late 16th century manor house in perfect condition and with great possibilities.
On the right side of the regional road leading to Campo Lameiro, specifically in the parish of San Lorenzo de Moraña, stands this magnificent pazo on the base of a crenellated fortress from the medieval period. Founded at the end of the 16th century, the state of conservation of this pazo is enviable thanks to the care and work of the current owners, who have carried out a detailed renovation.
Today the pazo operates as a rural tourism establishment. It has thirteen rooms (two of them suites) and an open-air swimming pool.
The main building is made up of three spaces:
The big house: outbuildings where the gentlemen used to live.
The gallery: old stables of the property.
The hunting: small two-storey outbuilding where the landlords used to live. It is named after the mountains where hunting used to take place.
The property is surrounded by an old stone wall that surrounds 40,000 square metres of well-tended gardens and orchard, with two imposing hórreos (raised granaries) over 10 metres long, a keep, a dovecote and a chapel.
The pazo La Buzaca is located in a peaceful natural environment with views of the valley and surrounded by centenary trees and impressive examples such as the chestnut tree situated in front of the dovecote.
Located in the region of Caldas, the municipality of Moraña is in the intermediate zone between the coastal plain and the high lands of the province of Pontevedra. It is a good geographical location, with excellent communications with the main Galician cities, favouring the development of tourist and commercial activities. It is only 20 minutes from Caldas de Reis and Cuntis, towns famous for their thermal water spas, and 35 minutes from Pontevedra, the epicentre of the region's economic and business activity.
