Famous as a golf destination, with world-famous courses such as La Reserva Club, Real Club Sotogrande and Real Club Valderrama, the estate is a sports enthusiast's paradise with world-class polo, tennis, sailing and water sports facilities for all ages. Specifically, La Reserva de Sotogrande is an ideal private retreat, extending over 650 hectares on which a select collection of private residences have been built. In this case they belong to ‘The 15’. EXTERIOR. The residence emerges organically from the landscape, fostering a profound sense of tranquillity, privacy and security.In this project, water is the element around which all the habitable rooms revolve. Therefore, water is allowed to penetrate and integrate into the interior spaces, generating a microclimate that cools the house in summer, while the courtyards act as green lungs and cross-ventilation chimneys. INTERIOR. These streams of water also act as mirrors that reflect light on walls and ceilings, elevating these spaces to another dimension. It has been proven that bioclimatic spaces improve the quality of life and here the latest techniques have been used to achieve this.In addition to obtaining a more eco-friendly and efficient system, construction and consumption costs are reduced and energy self-sufficiency is achieved in the long run. The house has a very innovative design where interior and exterior are harmoniously integrated.
