Dornden is found within the highly-regarded and sought-after residential area within the popular village of Langton Green, which is situated within 2 miles of Tunbridge Wells with its comprehensive amenities, shopping, schools, recreational facilities, theatres, pubs and restaurants, including The Beacon which is within 0.4 miles, and historic Pantiles known for its charming Georgian colonnade and summer Jazz festivals, and regular craft and food markets at weekends.

Once the home of Princess Louise, daughter of Queen Victoria, this important grade II listed brick and stone mansion house is now divided into three Freehold sections. Dornden is the west wing of the property, with the house having undergone extensive alteration and remodelling in 1925, to the designs of the architect, Joseph Compton Hall.
