Location

Breighton is a peaceful rural village which stands in a pretty stretch of countryside about 15 miles south of York and about six miles north of Howden. The village of Bubwith is closest with a convenience store, an award winning butchers, post office, doctors' surgery, public house, primary school (Ofsted rating Outstanding 2010) and sports and leisure centre, as well as the renowned delicatessen, the Jug & Bottle.

There are mainline rail stations at Howden and York with regular services to London Kings Cross, Leeds, York and Hull. The M62 gives access to Leeds and the wider motorway network.
