The house is an 1853 “Country Cottage” which is fully modernized and well maintained. This Country Cottage has an integrated backup generator to handle any power interruptions. Although heated by a modern oil forced air furnace, there is a high end enamel Jotul stove on the first floor which is quite capable of heating this well insulated house all winter long without the need for oil.
