Location

The West Sussex village of Prinsted enjoys a picturesque coastal setting on Chichester Harbour, with Prinstead shore approximately 300 metres south. Close to both Thornham Marina (0.5 miles) and Emsworth Yacht Harbour (less than 2 miles) and Bosham Sailing Club (less than 5 miles), all providing excellent facilities for sailing enthusiasts. The neighbouring village of Southbourne offers amenities including a nursery, Southbourne Primary school and The Bourne College, a Co-op, chemist, pet shop, hairdresser, public house, organic produce barn, farm shop and GP surgery.

Southbourne has a mainline train station which goes to London Victoria and nearby Havant offers service to London Waterloo. Emsworth is approximately 1.5 miles west and has a good mix of independent shops and places to eat. The Cathedral City of Chichester is less than 8 miles away and provides a comprehensive range of shopping amenities arranged partly within its pedestrianised centre. The arts are well represented with the internationally known Festival Theatre and Pallant House Gallery, housing one of the best modern art collections in the country. The annual Arts Festival centred on the Cathedral attracts artists and media personalities from all over the world.

Connections in the area are excellent with the aforementioned stations providing a regular service to London Victoria and Waterloo, Gatwick and other towns and cities along the south coast. In particular, nearby Goodwood is home to some of the best facilities in the country including golf, horse racing and its country club which includes gym, tennis court and swimming pool. The opening of The Kennels at Goodwood, its members club, provides an elegant restaurant and clubhouse serving food from its own organic farm. The nearby South Downs provides many footpaths and bridleways with opportunities for mountain biking.
