Sheringham House is set in an elevated setting, tucked away in a quiet yet convenient part of Sheringham. A traditional coastal town, well served and located to enjoy the entire North Norfolk coastline, Sheringham has all the hallmarks of a town with longevity and community.

The omnipresent feature is the town’s Blue Flag beach, whether for daily walks, hosting the grandchildren, sea swimming, paddle boarding or simply observing, it is the backdrop to life at the town. A number of cafes and pubs provide excellent vantage points of the beach and sea, from the Promenade. There is a growing street food scene, thanks mainly to ‘Fat Teds Streat Food’ and the viral ‘Crumble Crib’. All the pubs & restaurants are well known for their fresh seafood.

The town has the charming Little Theatre, offering plays, musicals, films and live screenings, a Museum dedicated to the history of the town, the North Norfolk steam railway that runs along the coastline to Holt, a boating lake, and the National Trust’s Sheringham Park for walking. There is well regarded golf club, with spectacular tees looking out to sea, and a relatively new leisure centre with great facilities. There are frequent busses to Holt, Cromer and Norwich and a train station, with connecting trains through to Norwich, London and Cambridge.

Sheringham House is a ten minute walk to the local Medical Centre, and the coastline as a whole has a plethora of restaurants and pubs, cafes and attractions, alongside renowned bird watching, seals, sailing and walks. The nearby towns of Cromer and Holt provide further amenities, with the latter best known for its boutique shopping.
