Bathwick Hill is one of the most desirable residential areas within the City of Bath. White Lodge is a fine late Georgian villa, forming part of the initial phase of development of Bathwick Hill. John Pinch the Elder was involved in the building of the Bathwick Estate and his influence can be sensed in this design. The property was used as a consulate for Monaco in the 20th Century before being transferred into private hands. From the front, you immediately sense the grandeur of the house with a fine pair of Tuscan columns supporting the porch.
