Melodia is a unique, sea view cottage house and was build in the nineteenth century with massive stone thick walls on a 17th century ruin. This old restored house has countless period features that have been carefully maintained and modern improvements that make it comfortable for living and entertaining on a grand scale.


The village of Agios Markos Corfu is the oldest venetian villages of Corfu, located just 4 miles from the Ipsos beach and 18km from the city of Corfu. The village belongs to the protected areas of the Ministry of Culture, thanks to its long history and great Venetian architecture. The village is surrounded by low hills and woodland and offers astonishing views of the Ionian see and beyond to Corfu old town with its two fortresses.


Above the garden of the cottage house is a Byzantine chapel from the 16th century.
The house is accessed through a stone paved path and is gated with cast iron gate. The top level of the house is consisting of a spacious kitchen/dining area with exposed wooden beams. The double balcony doors lead out to a covered balcony with amazing country side and sea views! A passageway leads to the sitting area of the property. The old open fire and the beautiful furnishing on this level add charm to this beautiful property. A few steps lead to a private bedroom.


A wooden traditional staircase leads to the lower level where there are two bedrooms: a bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a separate room which can be used as office/study or a further bedroom if required. The master bedroom features access to a terrace with pergola and beautiful plants. This space is ideal for chilling out in the hot summer days.


On the East side of the property there is a plunge pool with a cast iron bridge which leads to a sun terrace.
