Cadaqués, the most visited fishing village in Costa Brava, is famous for having been the centre of Dali's life and for the emblematic and prestigious "Casa Blaua" property, an exceptionally attractive and fairytale-like work of art on the sea front.The name "Casa Blaua" comes from the windows and doors framed with blue ceramic elements. Great care was taken to ensure that the materials used for the restoration correspond to the original ones. Among other things, the colour of the Art Nouveau tiles, the ceiling frescoes, the wrought iron work on the doors and windows and the main staircase decorated with floral ceramic panelling were restored.
