Borggård Manor is first mentioned as early as in 1486 and one of the previous owners was Gustav Vasa himself. The mill mansion in Borggård was built in 1825, receiving it's current appearance during an extensive restoration in 1932. For many years, the estate shared a common history with the town mill. In 1895, however, the land was sold to Tjällmo and Kristberg parish's annual cleaning and sea lowering limited companies. The owner of the mill, the Trägårdh family, later repurchased the manor house and additional buildings.

Over the course of the century, Borggård has developed into a complete mansion dream, where the latest owner has closed the circle with an unusually pious renovation of the corps de logi and other buildings. The main building's complete rebuilding and renovation, in 2015–2018, was carried out to perfection and the house is now in absolute top condition. Generous living spaces connect lounges, dining rooms and libraries with unique and charming details. In each room, the park and the water outside are constantly present. Borggård Manor is a fantastic gathering point for both relatives and friends. With about ten bedrooms, there is plenty of space for family and guests.

The two wing buildings have been renovated with the same piety. The south wing (240 sqm) includes a fully equipped gym and a rental apartment. The north wing (360 sqm) is currently being used as an office. Another building is the Orangery, now used as a garage equipped with double doors and Tesla chargers. In the same building a storage and workshop is also found. Furthermore, the estate occupies a machine hall, storage house and a gazebo located by the waterfront. In the magnificent park is a tennis court and an illuminated helicopter pad, making it easy to land and take off near the home.

With the property's pastures is also the opportunity to develop the farm with horse occupancy or simpler animal husbandry.
