In 1701, the establishment opened and a sophisticated building style began to take shape around the well over the years. As drinking spring water was to be coupled with walks in nature, a number of tree-lined avenues were planted as well as a park.
Many people have visited the well over the years and the economy has historically been based on paying well visitors, both the upper classes and the common people. Over the centuries, the building style has varied. However, it has always been important that the well was able to maintain its original function and offer a recreational environment.
The today separate property of approximately 1.45 hectares is easily accessible at the entrance to the village.
