樓盤簡介

Location

Pound Farm (formerly known as The Pounds) is a historically important Grade II* listed timber-framed farmhouse with surrounding farmstead buildings. The Pounds was a copyhold estate of Dymock Manor and is thought to have been used as a home farm for the nearby Grange of Flaxley Abbey. Shortly after the dissolution of the Abbey, The Pounds belonged to the influential Cam family. A succession of Cams succeeded in the ownership of the estate, to include Lady Ann Cam who through her philanthropic activities, gave her name to the local Dymock school.

Tillers Green is a pretty hamlet located on the outskirts of Dymock. The quintessential Gloucestershire village has both a well-regarded primary school and a frequented Public House. There are a host of outdoor activities to be enjoyed namely cycling and hiking, together with established hacking routes.

The charming Market town of Ledbury is approximately 5 miles away, with a host of independent shops, boutique stalls and coffee houses. Further amenities include a supermarket, pharmacy, and Doctors Surgery.

Both Gloucester and Cheltenham are within a forty minute commute (approximately). Both offer a wider selection of shops, bars, and restaurants together with vibrant centres. The spa town of Cheltenham is particularly well-regarded with an enviable selection of high-end boutiques, eateries and Regency parks, together with the world-renowned Cheltenham Racecourse.

Local equestrian venues include Hartpury College, Summerhouse Equestrian nr Gloucester, Kings Equestrian nr Bromyard, Allens Hill at Pershore and Ace Cross Country (M50 Jct 1). The local hunt is the Ledbury.

Communications are superb: The M50 motorway is approximately a 5 mile drive with direct access to the M5 motorway, which in turn leads to The Midlands, Bristol and The West Country respectively. Ledbury, Cheltenham and Gloucester have mainline train stations all of which have direct routes to London Paddington (approximately two hours).

There are a number of prestigious schools in the area: Cheltenham Ladies' College, Monmouth Preparatory School, Monmouth School for Boys, Monmouth School for Girls, The King's School, Worcester, The King's School, Gloucester, The Downs, Malvern and Malvern College are but a selection.
