Further afield is the commercial, retail and leisure centre of historic Chester. Rivendell is ideally located for business centers within North and Mid Wales and has excellent road links to the Midlands and North West via the A5.

Rail links are available from Ruabon (10 miles) direct to Birmingham, and Chester offers around a 2 hour intercity service to London.
