Snape is the home of the Aldeburgh Festival at Snape Maltings which is within easy reach. Ipswich is the country town of Suffolk and has a mainline rail service to London taking from 65 minutes. There are excellent schools close by within both the private sector with Framlingham & Woodbridge Schools & state sector with Thomas Mills & Farlingaye.
